On Tuesday the 14th of April we had a basketball tournament run by South Galway Stormers basketball club held in Gort Community School.

 TY students from Gort ran the tournament alongside Brian Bourke.

He also came to our school to help us get ready for the tournament teaching us lots of new basketball skills .

 Our panel was the 5th and 6th class girls and boys. We were in group B.  We came second in our group.

Ms O Doherty won the free throw competition.

We would like to thank Brian Bourke for organizing the competition and for refereeing the tournament. 

The TY students did a great job.
