A Really Fun Day

It was the 23^rd of June 2016. “It is ice-cream day. Hurray!” Ice-cream day is a fundraiser for ‘Down Syndrome Ireland.’ First there was rounders with Louise. She played Beat the Ball as a warm up game and we played a game of rounders. It was so fun.  I hit the ball so far!!! When we came in, it was time for ice-cream. I got a huge one!! I could barely get it into my mouth. It took ages for me to eat it! I played gymnastics at Break. I left my ice-cream on the wall while I went and did a cartwheel. And… my ice-cream melted on the wall. Oh no! Well I’ll know never to leave my ice-cream on the wall again. We had a busy day. Then at one thirty we had Gerry coming in because he works as an archaeologist. He told us about what he works as. It was fun! One day, he found a skeleton buried. He showed us a photo of it. It was a really fun day in Kiltiernan!
