Garda Visit

Two of our local Gardai, Philip Gleeson who works in Ardrahan and Gort Garda station and his colleague Philip who works in Craughwell Garda Station came to visit our school on Monday the 8^th of December. They came to talk to us about safety and how to be safe on the road and in the car. They stressed how important it is to wear your seatbelt and if you are walking/cycling on the road during Christmas to wear your high visibility jacket. They told us that Santa is not a good role model because he never wears a seatbelt and he always breaks the speed limit! They will be coming back after Christmas to show us how to take fingerprints. We are all looking forward to that experience.
