Cross Country

On the 22^nd of September Oisín, Ian, James, Stephen, David, Adam, Luke, Emma and Grace travelled to Renmore park for the schools cross county athletics. They were split into groups, 3^rd and 4^th class boys, 3^rd and 4^th class girls, 5^th and 6^th class boys and 5^th and 6^th class girls. Our school did very well. Well done to David and Stephen in particular who came 1^st and 7^th. The race was very tough because of the natural features like hills and the rough surface of the ground. You need a lot of stamina for cross country races. Stephen and David will be participating in the Connacht round and will travel to Sligo for it on the 18^th of October. We wish them the best of luck.
