Mark’s Birthday

On the 7^th of October 2016, it was Mark Fordham’s birthday. We had a big celebration at school! There was a bouncy castle, face painting and some treats for the kids that our wonderful parents council provided. We got to dress up in costumes of all the things Mark liked. Mark was 9 years old on that day. At big break, we got dressed into our costumes. I was a fairy fluttering through the woods. We had a fashion show when everyone showed off their costumes. Patricia and Donal were there and I think they had a very happy day. They gave us lots of jellies and there were refreshments in the hall for adults. Tara and Hannah did the face painting – and did a good job! We all had an absolutely brilliant day just like Mark would have wanted us to have!
