Kiltiernan Welcomes Galway Minors

On Tuesday the 8^th of December, there was a surprise visit of two Galway Minor hurlers. Pupils of Kiltiernan N.S. were very excited. They brought the All-Ireland trophy along with them. Cianan Fahy and Liam Forde showed us their medals. We asked Cianan and Liam some questions about hurling and how they have to prepare. We sang a Christmas carol called “Snow Business” which they were very happy with. They even joined in on some of it! Sadly they had to leave at some stage to visit other schools, so it was time for us to say good bye. It was a very nice surprise on what was otherwise a normal school day. I hope they come again soon!!!
